Billy . . . You're Driving a Spork Into Your Leg

This title is actually appropriate for once because I've had a very annoyed day today. It started at about 1 in the morning. I was thinking that the 1 suite mate would be better but, no. The two things that will quickly make me hate you is costing me money and being loud. I'm still the only one who changes the toilet paper, which super annoys me. And at 1 am, the girl next door decides to talk super loud with some guy. And slam a door. I mean, it's better than other stuff, but still, I don't like being woken up.

So I had my first US History class today. The professor is nice, which is good. And the course looks like it concentrates on the wars, so I don't know how that will be. As long as it doesn't turn into "America is bad." The only problem is the professor has this idea that all wars are about economics. Name me one war that was started purely for economic reasons. He said that we entered World War II because the Nazis were going to close Europe to the US and the Japanese would close Asia. Umm, ever heard of Pearl Harbor? Or the fact that the Nazis wanted to TAKE OVER THE WORLD? Meh. But I still like him better than Professor Borg.

And then I had Geology. The professor is really cool and funny, so the class is pretty fun. Today he told us that he had to train his dog not to stare at the sun because it was so stupid. My Western Civ professor talks really fast for notes so everyone has a hard time writing notes. Except me. I'm used to just writing down important stuff, so I'm like the only one who gets everything down.

Chicken cordon bleu and a twice baked potato for dinner, yum. But they were out of cake. :( And me and Carlin just fangirled over a Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 movie trailer. We're so cool.

Oh, and last night someone ran down the hall and banged on our door really hard. Me and Carlin both screamed really loud and I was shaky for like an hour. Not cool.

Bedazzled with Rinestones

This first week is like really boring. I only have one class on Mondays and Fridays until I sign up for IP. And it's a 10 am so I don't get to sleep in that much. Better than last semester when I had an 8 and a 9 am, but still. So I hike in the -3 degree weather to the bus stop and have to wait like 15 minutes for the bus to show up. Now that it's snowing out, everyone seems to be riding the bus. Luckily I've been able to get a seat so far. O-Tech was basically note taking today about basic lighting terms. And it was freezing in that room! Luckily our dorm room's really warm so the cold doesn't bother me in the room, just when I go outside.

So I pretty much spent the day sitting in the nice warm room. I had a bunch of reading for my Western Civ and my Geology classes to do, so I was at least productive. After my American History class on Thursday I have to go to the book store and buy more stuff for my classes. The problem is that I don't want to make a special trip out in the cold just to buy blue books and a rock test kit. Bleh.

I Was A Teenage Pop Star in Canada

I hate this weather. I just went to my Geology Lab and it was canceled. So I walked in the sub-zero temps for no reason, which riled up my asthma and made me achy. Sadness. I only had one other class today, O-Tech. It was just a syllabus day so pretty boring. Then I hung out in the room watching tv all day. Like Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Good movie. And thanks to snow in Nebraska my 9:30 is canceled tomorrow too! Sp I only have two classes at 3ish. Of course the email canceling the class only gave the professor's name so I had to go on a mad search to figure out what class it was.

So, once again this will be a short post cause I haven't really done anything. I painted my fingernails yesterday and that's about as interesting as it's been. At least my classes are spread out timewise so I have plenty of relax time.

Just . . . just don't ask about the post titles. I really have no more creative ideas so they'll be kinda random from now on. I'm back at the dorm and re-settled. The slut next door is gone, so much happiness there! And I have my cat, Alejandro. His picture is on my Facebook if you're curious. I finally put all my pictures up on my board, but that made me a little homesick. Then I watched Wipeout. I love watching people totally humiliate and fail on tv. Lolz all around. Salad for dinner. Bleh. Dorm food is fail.
