Hufflepuff's Are Great Finders!

So today is back to the boring, pointless posts that I know you all love so much. Not much happens up here, but I'm bored and blogging gives me something to do. And a place to rant pointlessly, but I don't have anything to rant about today. Which I guess is a good thing.

We had a very ooppressive day in Creative Drama today. Two more groups did their role dramas today. Role drama is when the teacher and the students all act out a sorta improv scene about any sort of topic. So the first group does slavery, having us all be slaves about to be sold while they were the auctioneers. We're all theatre kids, so we get pretty engaged in the role dramas, so that was a pretty heavy role drama. So then we go out into the hall so the next group could set up. When the group comes out, their topic is Animal Farm/oppressive communism. As soon as all of us heard this, we were all like "No! Not more oppression!" In that role drama I was one of the group that was supposed to be "this regime is bad." But after two scenarios about being oppressed I was ready to go "Vive la Revolution!" (I know, not Russian, but still). So now I have a history book about slavery that I have to read and write a paper on for next week, but I do not feel like it right now.

So, now time for Brittany's embarrassing stories of the day. #1. So I'm having a hard time finding my words today and I go up to get my lunch. There was fettuccine or macaroni noodles and I wanted the macaroni, but I couldn't remember what they were called. So I ask the guy for the "bendy noodles." He looks at me and says "the macaroni noodles?" Yes, yes I do. Forgive me but I'm stupid today. #2. So I'm leaving the dining hall out one door and this guy is coming in the other side. I guess he was trying to be nice, cause he tried to hold the door open. He does this by reaching over my head, without standing on his toes or me ducking. I feel so short! : (

Midnight premiere of Harry Potter 7 is tomorrow night! Me and Carlin already have our tickets for the 12:03 showing. We're going dressed up and everything. I think most of the campus is going, actually. Harry Potter is big among college kids, especially theatre kids. It's awesome. But I'm super excited! And if anyone cares, the post title is from A Very Potter Musical. If you've seen Harry Potter, you have to see this. It's also big among theatre kids.

NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Carlin just put in Jaws!!!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!! D: DO NOT WANT!!!!!!!

  1. holly laughs quite mockingly at story #1 and of course you are short! i've been telling you that for awhile now! And i agree with you that a lot of stuff about oppression is not the best day in the world. And im sorries that your crazy roommate watched Jaws. but at least you can think about Harry Potter while you watch it. :)
