Everybody--Backstreet's Back

I watched the American Music Awards today. Me and Carlin definitely like the male singers better for the most part--female singers tend to dance/dress a lot more slutty. Miley Cyrus actually behaved herself. She didn't dance and her outfit actually covered skin. But I'm not a big fan of her voice still. Enrique Igelsias' performance was really good. Justin Beiber won quite a few awards. I still think he sounds like a girl, but to each his own I guess. Bon Jovi was good. They're one of the old bands that I like. But the best part by far was . . . Backstreet's back! They did a performance with New Kids on the Block that was awesome! And me and Carlin had to sing along of course. I mean, we grew up with the Backstreet Boys, so that was cool.

I had dinner with Kyle and Shane tonight cause Carlin has to watch The Shining for film class. I guess it's not too scary, just really gross at parts. I'm having my own mini horror movie cause every time I turn around there's a snake on the regular tv. Creepy. I'm still trying to finish reading The Longest Memory for History on Tuesday. Its a really confusing slave narrative, which makes it really hard to get through. But at dinner tonight, Shane ripped his pants right near the zipper. I felt bad for him, cause I've done the same thing.

Last night me and Carlin watched The Lake House and August Rush. Both were really good. I love the music and the way sound works in August Rush. And there's cello playing, which is super cool. I definitely recommend both. Tomorrow I have to teach in Creative Drama, so I'll post then and let you know how that goes. But no more Playscript until finals, so I get an extra hour of sleep!
