The weather up here is very cold and dreary. It's like winter weather right now. You know, that cold where it just through your skin and just sits there. And it gets worse after dark. So around 7:30 we hear that horrifying beeping noise in the distance. Luckily, I've heard that sound many a times, so I leap up and start yanking on my shoes, grabbing keys, jacket, and phone, and preparing myself for the alarm over my bed to start in. If you wait too long in the dorm the alarms just get louder and more scary. At least Carlin was here, so I wasn't by myself. We also met this girl, Lizzie, and we all became friends through this whole fire alarm thing. But it was not fun waiting there in the cold. Most of us were in not warm clothes and no jackets. The fire truck took forever to get there and forever to turn off the alarm. And we still had to wait even after the alarm was off. We were probably out there more than 20 minutes. All of Harrison was not happy and very cold afterward.
So, classes. Playscript was blah as usual. In Theatre History we had a presentation on Spain theatre and the group's video was really funny. So that was good. Then lunch was egg salad on toast. And for Acting, we all show up and start warming up, but Harrison doesn't show. After 20 minutes, we send someone to his office and he wasn't there. So we figure class is canceled. So a bunch if us go down to Tropical Sno for snowcones. Kyle bought me a Strawberry Daiquiri one since I always drive him places. Why we got snowcones on a freezing day, I don't know. Anywho, it turns out Harrison was supposed to send someone to tell us to not leave and he'd be 20 minutes late. So the whole class accidentally ditched. But he sent an email that he understands that the person never gave us the message. So then it was Alfredo pizza for dinner, tv, and a scary fire alarm. Now I'm just trying to warm up.
